Alpha 1.1 is out! (Parallax Backgrounds and more!)
A lot has changed with this update under the hood. I've rebalanced weapons, changed enemy spawn rate and health, and added a new feature: parallax backgrounds! Now, there is a layer to the background with stars, nebulas, and more stars! This is a start to creating faction-specific levels which should be coming in the next month or two.
Enemies now spawn faster and have reduced health. They also have a max size so they don't continue to grow indefinitely. Also, you can die! Yay! When your run is over, you can restart or return to the menu. For each run you are given one of three ships randomly. In the full game, you will be able to choose your starting ship. Each ship has a different starting weapon and ship-specific stats.
